This range was inspired by an old Red Ensign which I had attached to the fence in my garden, thrown out by a sailor who was replacing it with a crisp new one. Each year it became tattier and  more faded, yet  so interesting to look at and touch - to think of it's journey to get where it is today, almost having it's own life and existence. The battered/torn and crinkled mirroring that of our own faces and lives as we age.

My most recent works have been combining my love of our fabulous Union flag with that of our fallen in Afghanistan. Helping us not to forget those that have died and also raising money for 'Help for Heroes' along the way.
